Powertex Wool face fabric
Made with our proprietary Powertex Wool 2-layer laminated weatherproof face fabric, which is blended with 10% wool yarns that add a unique look and feel. We also treat the material with a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish and seal all the seams for further waterproof protection.
Thermoreactive smart insulation
We line the core, sleeves and oversized hood with warm, 200-weight TirolWool® Responsive insulation padding in a high-quality silky, comfortable lining fabric. TirolWool® Responsive is made from wool sourced from Tirolean mountain sheep – their mountain environment means they produce a wool with higher insulation properties and blended with Responsive polyester fibres, enhanced with thermoreactive minerals. These minerals are able to recycle far-infrared (FIR) energy back to the body to stimulate your circulation and oxygen flow, benefitting performance and recovery. As a result, it also keeps you warm and comfortable for longer.
Named after Monte Elmo in the Val Pusteria, the Elmo has a relaxed, regular fit that is cut longer at the back and ergonomic shaped sleeves with Velcro-adjust cuffs to seal out drafts and enhance comfort. With outer pockets with waterproof zips and two large stretch inner pockets and a practical chest pocket.
