Our durable Puez Unisex Powertex shell shorts provide breathable, packable weather protection for days spent on the trail.
When you’re trekking over and around the mountains and off on (multi-day) alpine adventures in wild places, a pair of waterproof shorts often make good sense. Made from our proprietary Powertex, the Puez shorts can withstand rain with a water column of 10,000 mm and have very high breathability (MVTR: 40,000 g/m²/24h). The fully seam-taped laminated construction consists of a water-repellent shell fabric combined with a waterproof/breathable membrane and an additional barrier coat and requires no backing liner. We finish it with an eco-friendly DWR (durable water repellent) treatment for additional protection. Powertex has a pleasant textured hand that feels dry next to the skin.
They have a comfortable, low-profile elasticated waistband that works well with a pack and a rear zipped pocket that doubles up as a compression pouch. The slim, athletic cut has a gusset crotch to allow dynamic freedom of movement. When not in use, they stow down super compact and at just 112 grams, weigh less than your average banana.
We recommend our Puez Unisex Powertex shell shorts as breathable, weather protection for alpine trekking and hiking.
