Weatherproof shell
Built to seal the weather out and keep its insulation dry, the durable ripstop 2-layer PU-coated Powertex waterproof shell has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. In addition, the high-quality, soft-touch outer fabric is bluesign® approved, which means it’s manufactured with the lowest possible impact on people and the environment.
High-quality down fill
Inside, the high-quality 90/10 pure duck down has a fill power of 750 for enhanced thermal insulation and a soft, comfortable lining. It has a zoned 3D down box chamber construction that positions and keeps the insulation exactly where you need it most and enhances the loft, plus ergonomic sleeves and shoulders to ensure a good fit and full freedom of movement. What’s more, the generous longer cut length and regular fit adds comfort and coverage with room for layers. All of our down is Responsible Down Standard approved and comes from independently audited and traceable sources to help ensure that the birds are not live-plucked or force-fed.
Storm protection
The Fanes Heavy Down Jacket has an oversized, warm, soft and adjustable down insulated hood that adapts to give a close, precise fit if needed and a cosy, high, integrated collar. The front zip is backed with a windproof flap to keep cold draughts out, and its 2-way design is also highly practical if you feel too warm or want easy access. At the hem, there are cord locks to seal in warmth and maintain your core body temperature. With two spacious inner pockets and two zip-secure outer pockets.
