Light, waterproof, windproof and breathable – the Puez Light Powertex Women’s Jacket provides maximum storm protection with minimum pack size. Named after the Puez Group in the western Dolomites, it weighs an incredibly light 115 grams. This jacket is designed specifically for (multi-day) alpine trekking tours or Hautes Routes where you want keep your pack weight down.
Its Powertex Eco fabric offers reliable weather protection (water column: 10,000 mm), big breathability (MVTR: 40,000 g/m²/24h) and comes with a fully seam-taped, stormproof 2.5-layer laminated construction. This means that the water-repellent shell fabric is combined with a waterproof/breathable membrane and an additional barrier coating. We also give it an eco-friendly PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish. And as there is no need for a protective liner, making this jacket is lighter and more compressible. Powertex is pleasant worn against the skin and has a dry, textured feel.
The Puez Light jacket has a slim, ergonomically shaped, athletic fit that is cut slightly longer at the back for additional protection at the seat area and for a better fit during movement. It is ideal when worn directly over a wicking baselayer or a light insulation midlayer. The tailored hood, cuffs and hem all have a stretch binding to keep out cold winds or the rain. What’s more, the Puez Light packs down to the size of a sandwich and weighs little more than an apple. Available in two striking colourways.
